This is impulse buying decision. When customers buy our product and services, most likely they buy because they do not want to miss your offer.
For example, you have stated on your website that:
- If they buy before 12 a.m., they will get 50% discount.
- If they buy now, they will get 7 free bonus item that worth $XX amount of value.
- And the list go on and on.
It creates good conversion. In other word, it works.
Smart Buying Decision
Helping people to make an intelectual buying decision.Not just because of your offer, but mainly because of your business value.
You know what is your market problem. Then you align every single words that help them to understand how your product or service can help them.
Example?
- When you write a marketing campaign, you told the customer that you really understand their problem (specific problem).
- Then you told them that your product will help them to reduce the pain.
- Once they are interested, you tell them what is the risk when they buy the product (Most of the time, your product is not for everyone).
- Guide them to buy (Ask to click a specific call-to-action button, call specific number and etc).
Which One Suits Best?
We need both.Combine both strategy.
We have to offer scarcity to the customer.
(So that they will make fast decision to buy our product).
We have to identify and align every words that your customers want to read.
(So that they will understand your business value and how you can solve their problem).
